Block Island
A penciled map became a dense island of paint and fabric. Lettering, splatter, and a pale late pass kept changing which part of the image held the foreground.
Away from the screen
Built up, painted over, and found again.
Most of these pieces changed direction several times. The process is the part worth showing: composition, texture, revision, and the occasional complete repaint.

Nautilus
Broad masses established the composition first. The vessel arrived later; the surface was then rebuilt around movement, water, and weather.

Round
A dark field was opened with a single white disk, surrounded by splattered orbits, then rebuilt into a deliberately imperfect target.

Sculpture
Charred wood, a model ship, cloth sails, and layered blue medium turn a wood slice into a small landscape that changes from every angle.
